MTData was recently honoured by the Victorian Taxi Association with this year’s Taxi Industry
Achiever Award. The taxi department and company as a whole was extremely proud to receive this
recognition as they were the first company, and more still the first entity outside of the taxi industry
to be nominated for the award. MTData plan to continue delivering innovative solutions to the
industry for many years to come.

Since its first year of operation in 1991, Adelaide Independent Taxis has grown from a fleet of 28
vehicles to today's diversified fleets of 90 vans and 330 taxis. The implementation of AIT’s new
MTData Next Generation Taxi Dispatch System occurred in two phases, the first being the Access
fleet of 90 vans, which went live on the 24th January 2010. The second and larger part of the project
resulted in 330 taxis switching on the MTData system in early June, after another very efficient
hardware installation completed in just two days. Chris Triantafyllou, AIT Operations Manager was
pleased to see some positive statistics after just a week of having the system in place with pickups
under five minutes improving by 7%. We look forward to providing Adelaide Independent Taxis with
many more efficiency gains in the future.
