Jesse has hit the ground running in our customer service department. Joining us with experience in
customer service and PC support within the Barristers Chambers Limited in Melbourne, Jesse has
already become a key part of the MTData team. Jesse says, ‘I am looking forward to product testing
as well as working with the software team to provide quality service to our rapidly growing customer

Congratulations go to Robert Machin, 2009 National Professional Driver of the Year. Based in
Townsville with Hawkins Transport, Machin has an immaculate driving record, with no traffic
offences from 1949 to the present day. With 28 years of driving experience with the company,
Machin says, ‘Hawkins makes sure that every time their drivers hit the road they are fit, safe and

Since its founding in 1994, Al-Manar Arabian Corp (MACO), a company based in Dammam, has
diversified and grown to employ 800+ staff. In this time the organisation has held a commitment to
operational excellence that has involved embracing new technology to further improve service. With
a view to continually improve, MACO installed MTData vehicle tracking into 50 of their vehicles.
Soon phase two will begin with the further deployment of 100 units.

In recent weeks Garden City Cabs (Black and White Cabs Toowoomba branch) have upgraded their
dispatch system in a move to ‘lead the industry in service and safety.’ This change over optimizes the
booking system to provide the end customer with shorter waiting times. Other new features include
the ability to track each job from start to end, whilst drivers now have in-vehicle navigation on 7”
colour touch screens and wireless keypads. Managing Director of Black & White Cabs, Greg Webb,
says ‘the company’s Toowoomba fleet will establish new benchmarks for service and safety with its
new MTData Taxi Dispatch System.’
